@robertclarkphoto 2016 marks the first year high school freshman will learn about 9/11 as a historical event they were not alive for. For most of us, September 11th, 2001 is a historical marker seared in our memories, not an abstract event. This generation, #GenZ, will approach the problems that have been created in the last 15 years from a different point of view as they are the most racially diverse, tolerant generation the United States has produced. Research says that they hope to make a difference in the world, a large portion of them volunteer, and an overwhelming majority are eco-conscious and concerned about humanity’s impact on the environment. #911 #neverforget
