Best game I’ve ever seen. I was worried deep into the third because of the USA’s valid complaint that Benn was back on the ice early, and arguably that technical error gave Canada the lead. That goal could conceivably have been repealed. We really needed to win by at least two for it to be a definitive win. So we did that. Resoundingly. Nice. That was the best hockey I’ve ever seen. Certainly it belongs on the shelf with the fabled Canada-Russia game 33 years ago (to the day).
