Alright, I cheated. I promised myself that I’d catch up with all my pics before posting the ones from Saturday night, but I couldn’t wait. Who can wait while I process more than a thousand frames?

At around six Saturday evening (which felt like 10:30) Neil & I decided to take some shots using his big flash. We almost went back up Mt Tolmie, but I needed warmer clothes so we hit my place on the way to Dallas Road, where we could use the log jam by the breakwater & all sorts of landscape features in Beacon Hill Park.

We were both tired. I almost pulled the cord for an early night. It had been a very (very) long week at the Mill (more on that later) and all I really wanted to do was read a book or something.

Such is fate. This shoot almost didn’t happen. A hundred and forty frames in six hours with Neil, Talktalk & I, and you can see the ones that made the cut in the Fear Foto album.
