the family portrait

Here’s the pic my mother has been relentlessly hounding me for. Heh. It’s my dad’s b-day last Saturday, and she said it’s the first time in something like 13 years he’s had both his kids together for it.

Fair enough. Happy birthday, Dad. Hope it was a good one to you. Thanks for… well… everything. Good job.

  1. Yep. Good job, for sure.

Mr. Taverner, you’ve raised a fine son. No kidding – he’s the Good People they talk about in the movies. One of those people that you’re glad are on your side in any situation. He’s the kind who charms the pants off ya and then makes you happy to be naked. He’s the kind that … you know, I think I’ve said too much already, Mr. Taverner.

He’s a good kid, anyways. Thingy.
