The club night went well, thanks. A good turn out, although we just missed critical mass maybe twice during the night. A couple of flossies wanted some top40, so I obliged, having had a pretty good run up to that point. And sure, they danced, but that’s about when people started trickling out. Gah. When will I learn. =)
Anyway, I’m going to hit Davin & Anton up for some good bed tracks I can use for layering and bridging and such. I’ve realized I have about 4000 really good songs with me every night, but they need bed tracks surrounding them to make them shinier.
Needed: lots of disco & funk house. Any suggestions? I want a night of disco & electroclash, basically. With some breaks thrown in (which means some garage as well) to cut the night up.
I’m looking forward to next Thursday. I’ve been promised wimmins.

I’m glad you had a good night, ours was eventful. Or rather, not. We ended up in the dark two minutes after we put Zach to bed, and it lasted for 4 hours. It was quite nice to not have to attend all the things that keep our lives busy, and just relax together in the candle light. Got to bed early too, which can only help this cold along it’s way. Oh, and I’m form 3, Unicorn: The Innocent. Hee hee.

Well, for the sake of Denis’ soul, let me clarify- I need bridge tracks, which means minimal vocals. So that I’m not playing anthem after anthem. I’m looking for disco & a little bit tribal, with snap bass and analog synths and even the conga drums, and all the wub-wub I can get my hands on. Shall I call it glitterball house? Disco Dub?
