now back to the show

I hardly dare hope. Has Wizard Judd cast his dark magic on my humble blog, returning it to full health? Suddenly my two test posts (below) have shown up…

For a while there I was getting a bit noodly, considering even posting into the comments of my last reachable thread just so I could keep posting. I didn’t want to put any pressure on Judd because I know how overworked he is, so I quietly mentioned the blog needed help, sent him a few emails detailing the problem, and left a case of beer on his desk.

Sure enough, it looks I may be back on the air. Maybe. I haven’t tried posting yet. That’s why we’re here: to see if this thing flies when we toss it off the cliff.

Speaking of- all sorts of shizz has been going down, and it’s all blog worthy. I’ve got to get out there and bike a few kms while it’s still light (a beautiful Sunday by all accounts), but I’m hoping to get back on here later tonight and do a catch-up of some sort.

WOO! It’s good to be back. Now… for the test…

    COMMENT:
catch up. yeah! if you wanna go for a bike ride around willows beach area sometime, drop me a line and I may join you. some nice quiet neighbourhoods good for biking near by.

  2. just looked at the new pix. v. nice. you could sell a couple of those to the cruiselines, I bet.

  3. I’m not stalking you… I just call it part of my “procrastination routine”. :)

  4. And fixed not a moment too soon. You were starting to get that crazy, blog-deprived look in your eyes, where you’d do anything to post.

I’ll save us both some face and avoid mentioning what you offered in exchange for a functional blog. Water under the proverbial bridge. :)

Good to see you back, DJ.

  5. I’m not exactly sure what happened. We did a huge server migration of everything we’re hosting in Victoria. It went surprisingly smoothly and it’s a huge credit to Judd & the lads. My blog is special of course, because of the way we had it set up (partitioned outside the WonderWeb & so forth) and it looks like the problem wasn’t a major one (at least not after several emails from me full of notes) but it couldn’t be made a priority because of so much other stuff going on. The server migration and such. *grin*

And that’s about as much as a dj can tell you.
