Before the trip to Vegas Jen & I spent a couple evenings in Bellingham with the Impromaniacs. Bellingham claims to be the City of Subdued Excitement… maybe in hopes of attracting seniors or something. I don’t know. But there was nothing subdued about the capacity audiences when the performers took the stage for four shows over two nights at Ryan Stiles‘ Upfront Theatre.
True story: there were only a few seats left in the nosebleeds for the first show Friday night, and by the second show Saturday you could hardly find a place to stand and forget about getting a seat. And they were sharp: intelligent and up for a laugh. We couldn’t ask for better. The crew of Unexpected Productions are very fortunate to have such a great homebase.
As I said: this album isn’t a narrative. Just a collection of pics from a very fun road trip.
Cool, so now…. Vegas? Patiently waiting….k, so maybe not so patiently.
