Despite the many post game interviews of @kaepernick7 where he brilliantly articulates his reasons for his actions, folks have run off with their own false narratives twisting it to be about patriotism and troops. As someone who’s worn a cop uniform for 5 days a week for over 9 years and patrolled some of the toughest neighborhoods in this nation, it’s from THAT vantage point that I confirm the systemic and cultural issues in Law Enforcement that #ColinKaepernick speaks of exists and needs to be rectified. #ImWithKap #OfficersForKaepernick #JusticeLeagueNYC #Kaepernick #TakeAKnee
