Sky In Your Face

“We jumpin’ out a airoplane.
Perfectly good airoplane.
It’s got two wings and eveythang,
But we doin’ it anyway.”

I have a new hobby. This is a thing that I do. Whenever I close my eyes, I see that first splash of ground that goes wall to wall – nothing between me and terra firma but 15000 feet of terminal velocity. I promise – there is no other feeling like it. In describing something as “what a rush” this is what you are comparing it to, and you really aren’t close. Wow.
