My Hero’s

I’ve long carried a torch for grammar and punctuation.  When I know the language better than most some of my teachers and profs it’s either weep or laugh.  I cringe a dozen times a day, not just reading signs on the streets, but reading the NYT or watching CNN.  There is a plague amongst us, and apathy is the pale horse!

I once bowed low in homage to Bob the Angry Flower, for his righteous tirade in defense of the apostrophe.

I joined the Apostrophe Protection Society on Facebook.

Two American lads recently took the fight to the streets.  You go, Jeff Deck and Benjamin Herson.  You tell the world.  You tell ’em how it is.

For the rest of you: if you use an apostrophe when counting DVDs, it better be in the possessive.  Or I will punch you.
