getting there

the view from Kits

I know. I said I’d post on Wednesday and now it’s almost Friday. Time moves and I’m not always keeping up with it. The pic is the view from our common sun deck at the new digs in Kits. We’re about the same physical distance from getting our feet wet as we were in the West End but now we’re in Kits. And we like it. Also we hear that we are the new cautionary tale used by our old supervisor on the new managers. Much to the grim bemusement of the tenants we left behind. Ah well, this is symptomatic of why we got out. Maybe I’ll gossip a bit more on all that one day.

Quickly – I’m sorting out the details for a shoot next week, but I will be taking pictures of chairs in an airport. Or, maybe now the ferry terminal. Or maybe both. Yep, chairs. Seating, to be a bit more precise. I’m looking forward to it, which, I guess, makes me a real photographer. I find out more tomorrow.

Also, Maigen and I are going to pop in on auditions Saturday for a fashion shoot up at Whistler at the end of the month. It’s been a while since I’ve appeared on that side of the lens. Whether we’re added or not is secondary, for me, to the meaningful conversation I can have with people in the industry. Very fun, yes.

Much more to talk about, and I hope to do some of that tomorrow. Hope ’07 is playing nice with you so far.
