A few years ago Twilo, an extremely successful nightclub in New York was pressured into shutting its doors. Rampant paranoia concerning ecstasy was to blame. Clubs in the UK were shut down for selling bottled water, defined as drug paraphernalia. So perhaps it’s no great surprise that Beijing should also fumble blindly in the night.
I’ve always found it odd that the ignorant try so hard to remain ignorant.
