It’s Tuesday and you’re glued to the tv set. What are you watching? The series premier of Da Vinci’s City Hall, the natural progression of Da Vinci’s Inquest, which won a hojillion awards, is seen in 45 countries, and is Canada’s highest rated dramatic series.
At least I believe it’s the premiere. CBC.ca doesn’t seem to be entirely certain on the subject. That’s the air date us production guys have been given but who, after all, are we?
Anyway, 9pm on CBC. Da Vinci has been elected Mayor of Vancouver and he wastes no time getting his feet wet in all the tastiest political issues like prostitution and gambling. We’re currently working on episodes three & four, with five arriving on my doorstep Thursday night. I have to say I’m enjoying it. I like the story. And there are three hotties not even counting the two hot lady cops. Whatever happened to Canadian tv casting strictly on showbiz politics?
Stay tuned for episode three, where whats-his-name says, “Listen, you snake-eyed bastard. Do what I pay you for and bury the whore.”
Fun.
