7 things I plan to do before I die:

1- travel. if I can’t do all the countries alphabetically I’ll start with the pretty ones. i may or may not have said the same thing about girls when i was in high school. this may be a more practical goal.
2- draw. not so much a grand event as just to get back into it. talktalk has never been pleased that i don’t do it anymore. waste of talent, he says. i gave up saying similar things about him, though.
3- carve a wood chess set. from scratch. yup. actually i really want to work with wood a lot.
4- dive in every ocean. although i won’t sweat missing the anti arctic. or uncle.
5- write (and illustrate) & get published. because that’ll mean I finished a story for once. at least.
6- build my own home. it’s been in my head for… decades.
7- raise a son.

6- be a kid. or not.

1- eat brussel sprouts.

4- breathe under water. i’m pretty sure.
5- make it all better.
6- not try to make it better anyway.
7- understand how people can be so cruel to each other.
