I would love to see you there. And not just because I need you to bring your Great Big Sea and Pogues cds. Our most holy Saint Patrick is hallowed on this day above all others for his gift to us- the right to be publically drunk and rowdy with dignity and respect and to wake up the next day wondering at just what point we lost our pants.
Adrian. I will probably not show up at the UC, however, I can never ever think of Saint Patrick and not smile and think of you.
For all those years of St. Patrick’s Day shows in Vertigo, where we sold the night out every time and you were always there, off in your booth, smiling, drinking and spinning… thanks man.
Although I don’t see you enough, something I’d like to remedy, I want you to know you’re an amazing person, a great friend and a fantastic human.
I hope you have a festive St. Patrick’s Day. I’ll be sure to down a dark one in your honour.
