I’m working on a lot of pics. The Impromaniacs trip to Bellingham and the Vegas adventure amount to about a gig or so- a couple hundred photos. That’s a lot of editing. But while all that’s going on I can’t very well leave you with nothing to think about.
Next Thursday, February 10, the UC is hosting an event benefitting the tsunami disaster relief efforts. You may have read about the series in the paper, or heard about it on the radio, or seen the info on tv. Apparently the series is getting a lot of coverage. Liam Lux, dj and top dog at Lucky, is heading the charge which hits something crazy like 12 or 15 venues.
Thursday we’ve got Liam, Kenzie (the Sorceress) and several other well-known names spinning a retro theme along with yours truly. If you haven’t made it out to my retro night yet I can’t imagine a better excuse.
Admission is by cash donation and it all goes to straight where it’s supposed to.
I’m a little dizzy with how much fun this is going to be. Almost feel guilty with the seriousness of the cause. Almost. Someone’s gotta do it, right?
