For those that still say global warming is nothing to worry about.
Geoffrey Ballard, of course, designed the Ballard Fuel Cell: a hydrogen-based system that produces no pollution. Zero. Its by-products are heat and water vapour. And the system is stable enough to power public transit vehicles in perfect safety. At the original 1993 public unveiling of the bus powered by his power cell the officials presiding celebrated by drinking the vehicle’s emissions from champagne glasses. Pure water.
I only mention it because this was ten years ago. And ten years ago global warming was still barely more than a myth. An easily reversible straying from the path of common sense.
But hey, maybe you’d like to trust these guys. Hell, I’m sure they’ll sell you some sun-block while you sit around in your polarized bubble wondering what happened to all the fish. And reindeer. And frogs. And California.
Seriously now. What possible harm could there be in pushing for sustainable industry? What possible excuse can you come up with that justifies doing nothing? Why NOT do the safe thing? The smart thing. The thing with the long view.
Sometimes people are so stupid.
Where the hell do you think all the money will be in twenty years?
fancy new banner sir. i like.
