tis the season

rockout

This hurried entry is brought to you by:

– A scavenger hunt on Saturday which bagged my team 3rd place, and wouldn’t have been possible without extensive cooperation from the local police department.

– A fantastic Thanksgiving fete thrown by Jen’s extended family, at which I made out like a bandit (ten pounds heavier) but at which more importantly I was made once again to feel totally welcome and surrounded by Good People.

– Dan’s birthday, a portion of which I am going to spend with him today (Happy Birthday, Dan) after I shower & get the hell out of my house. I think we’re moving some dirt. And also beer bottles. Which have to be emptied first.

Pictures are on the way but not til after I get those improv festival pics up. And by the way- for those of you who have been extremely patient: it shouldn’t be long now. I have improv tonight but no other committments tonight or tomorrow. I might even manage to get the album finished by the end of the day tomorrow, just in time to go talk to a guy who might get the unparalleled pleasure of the Impromaniacs live performance weekly at his venue. Which reminds me:

We’re headed into the end-of-year party season, and you know your party is going to suck unless you feature an appearance by the Impromaniacs. We’re cheaper than a band that doesn’t have your kid in it and we’re exponentially more fun than a mime, even with our pants on. 250-388-3658 sooner rather than later. We’re already stacking bookings on top of bookings we’ve had since last year. Yes, we’re that good. Coming up soon we play a gig where we replace the servers at a banquet and hilarity ensues.

Right then. Enough chit chat. Talk to you soon.
