With all the fun I’ve been having lately (see below), I’ve neglected to lavish kudos where they are due.
The poster for Saturday the 28th is courtesy of Kyle, one of my new fave people and certainly one of my fave artists. Boy’s got MAD SKILLZ. He’ll insist I give at least a nod to Anton for some advice with fonts and such, but he’s like that.
Thanks huge, laddie buck. You’ll hate me for getting you so drunk you can’t remember your name, but remember that I’m doing it out of love & gratitude. *grin*
On the other hand, he’s behind in his Otter Side comics. Ok, to be fair he’s been close to homicidal with the hating of school so I guess you really can’t hold that against him. I’m just bugging him. I know how he feels.
He’ll be here in… (consulting jesteR‘s Kountdown to Kyle Klock) in about 7 and a half days. And yes, everybody is excited to meet this guy we already feel like we know. Jason loves him, and therefore he automatically passes all tests. I’ve talked to him a few times, most notably when there’s drizzunk dialing on somebody’s part. And we chat often on the IM. I like him a lot. He’s another one of them solid gold types this li’l crowd seems to attract.
And apparently we ARE attracting him. If some of us have our way he’ll be VICTORIA RESIDENT KYLE before too much longer. Yes, I think everyone should finish school.* *disclaimer: unless you can get hired by Wondermill, in which case you’ll learn more and love life while you’re doing it. So I think if we can give the boy a home he can live with, we’ll keep him.
MAD SKILLZ I tells ya.
Makes me kick myself for having this big beautiful drawing board sitting right here beside me and keeping it waiting for some attention.
Actually, the way things are going these days I could very well be settling back in to producing something with “pencils” (an ancient tool used for “drawing” pictures on “paper”). I miss it. My friends grumble about wasted talent. I owe people about 50 bajillion pics.
Kyle, look what you’ve done. Complicated my life beyond all reason. Now I’ve got people yammering for pics they’d forgotten about years ago. Tattoo designs, posters, art. *sigh*

Seriously, though, I could go on and on about this boy’s talent – and I often do – so I will save it this time around.
He definitely is part of the crew, and I can honestly say I am glad to have him in my life… it hasn’t been the same since, and there’s no way in hell that I am complaining about THAT.
