I love this article. I could not have said it better myself. Cheers.

You have a definite way with words A. You know I am always looking out for what you’ve got coming next. (On your blog) Too bad nobody gets to hear your voice as you say it because that is always the topper. Take Care…..
I’ve always loved Rick Mercer and now I love him more. Thanks adrian for posting such brilliance. Up with Rick Mercer! I really miss him on This Hour Has 22 Minutes. I should just write Rick a love-letter. maybe if I ask nicely enough, he’ll come back.
HEY! I wondered what happened to you! When can we expect you back in the game?
Hear hEaR! Ahem, sorry my voice is a little creaky form not being used.
I shall return! Darn bills and people wanting money. Turns out Shaw doesn’t let me use their stuff for free. Bastards.
You would think I’d be writing stuff just waiting to post wouldn’t you. nah. Good idea though.
lmao! I actually found that hilarious, but mostly because I’ll pick on anything, including myself and my country :)
One day I’ll have to visit Canada and see what all the fuss is about. I hear you guys have, like, four seasons and whatnot. Weird.
For now, I’ll be sitting in NC, sipping sweet tea and pretending to be a southern belle :P
You guys do know what sweet tea is, don’t you?
While Rick Mercer is one of my personal gods, I must be honest and point out that he isn’t responsible for this great apology, but Colin Mochrie from This Hour Has 22 Minutes is the genius behind it.
I completely agree with Rick Mercer on this and most other subjects he talks about on t.v.
No one seems to talk for the minds of this nation as well as he does. He’s witty and intelligent and really represents the Canadian perspective well
