    WTF!

    First off, this is insane. Secondly, I try to comprehend. Follow me here. Lets just hope they have a really good reason. What would be a good reason to hold hundreds of people hostage after they tried to comply? There isnt one.

    Once again, I try to play devils advocate. Globaly speaking what could be a good reason. Well we do know that some of the persons responsible for the sept 11 attack were legal immigrants. Landed with papers stamped by the US Gov. Now we assume that some may have snuck in to the states and are there “illegally”. Now if the powers that be in the States wanted to catch some of these people we would think that they wouldn’t just walk up and hand themselves in. Like at a voluntary immigration registration.
    But, and this is a big but, some of these bad guys may try and register under an alias therefore giving themselves legit papers. With these papers it may be easier to move about. I really don’t know. I’m grasping at straws here. I am going to then assume that they are holding all these people while they do legitimate checks before letting them go? I am lost. This is ridiculous.

    I love Canada.
